The Harkn difference

Not all listening tools are created equal

Are you looking for more effective ways to listen to your employees?

There are plenty of tools out there, from survey providers like WorkDay Peakon and Culture Amp to wellbeing platforms like Headspace and Unmind.

Whichever technologies you're currently using, Harkn adds unique depth and nuance to your listening toolkit.

Enrich your employee listening suite

Choosing Harkn enriches your existing survey tools, enhancing your understanding of today's complex workplace needs.

Surveys alone fall short in capturing wellbeing, fostering inclusivity, building relationships, and cultivating trust.

Harkn’s live listening capabilities fill these gaps, providing real-time insights to support a dynamic and adaptive work environment.

The Big Listen
Introducing

The Big Listen

A growing number of companies are considering the move to live and continuous employee listening, but it can feel like a big step from periodic insights. The Big Listen is our new 90-day deep listening initiative that's designed to help more employers take the first step towards listening differently.

The Big Listen

We have countless tools for the company to communicate with employees, but just one – Harkn – where employees can talk back safely.

Start delivering on employee wellbeing

Start delivering on employee wellbeing

While initiatives like wellness apps and EAPs are good benefits to have, they cannot identify and work to solve the systemic causes of poor wellbeing in the workplace.

What's more, they can't pick out the one voice in 1000 who needs urgent wellbeing support right now.

Knowing who needs help and being able to deliver timely, personalised intervention is key to unlocking workplace wellbeing.

Transform your wellbeing strategy

Issues like stress and burnout continue to impact both individuals and the bottom line, and evidence suggests EAPs and wellness apps are doing little to tackle the problem. A new approach is needed; one that's proactive, data-driven and targeted.

Harkn FAQs

All your employee listening questions answered.

Is Harkn a survey tool?

No.

Harkn facilitates continuous two-way dialogue, meaning employees can contribute feedback, ideas, concerns and opinions any time they like.

We do have pulse and thematic-style survey features, but these are designed to supplement our core listening tools like the Daily Check-In, the Wall, and the Good Day Ratio.

Can Harkn deliver wellbeing support?

Yes.

Employee wellbeing support is integral to what we do.

Our data-driven approach enables organisations to anticipate wellbeing problems before they emerge, empowering timely intervention.

We use a combination of live data and live dialogue to inform our wellbeing case management system that maintains anonymity for the dignity and privacy of individuals. Find out more below.

Harkn for wellbeing.

Is Harkn really anonymous?

Absolutely.

Every single interaction employees have with Harkn, from the Daily Check-In to commentary  on The Wall and in Team Rooms, is devoid of any personal identifiers to encourage an inclusive, psychologically safe culture built on open and honest communication.

This extends to our Wellbeing Centre, where flagged cases remain anonymous while they are supported and signposted to further resources.

The only exceptions to this come if an employee chooses to name themself, or we believe there is a significant safeguarding reason to do so.

Can Harkn be integrated with existing HR systems?

Yes.

We are able to integrate with existing systems and databases you may have in place. We agree to this for the purpose of making it easier for you to manage information around leavers and joiners across all platforms.

Many organisations we work with choose to use Harkn as a standalone tool from existing systems to further reassure employees of its anonymity, and instead update us separately on personnel changes.

Whichever your preference is, we can accommodate it.

Does Harkn support single sign-on?

No.

Single sign-on, which unifies access to all applications and websites within an organisation with one set of credentials, presents too much of a threat to the psychological safety we guarantee to employees using Harkn.
